Veronica:
Then: She was supposed to be the girl who liked to heal but more importantly the lonely one, the one Slytherin with ethics, integrity, and didn't care about blood status, who was a hatstall and only there for her ambition. She was supposed to be the outcast, the one who didn't have any friends.
Now: She is now very passionate about healing, she lives for it, it's the big of her life. She is now very loving, very devoted. She is the girl that everyone knows and admires her reputation. She's kind of the go-to older character for advice, the one who's got a clear head when everyone else is going crazy. Her love for Alexei has grown her own self-acceptance, and shown her that she does indeed have people who liked her.
Lucas:
Then: Luke was meant to be that one kid who everyone knows is obsessed with quidditch and yet is unsure why he is a prefect. He was also supposed to be a Hufflepuff since there weren't a lot if any.
Now: Well, Luke's need for speed and obsession with quidditch has not changed much. However he's become a whole lot more than just an athlete. He has become the poster child for orphans and godchildren. Further more, he seems to be the brave and protective Hufflepuff, the "looking after their own" kind. He has also become some of my characters' best friend.
Isabella:
Then: Back then, she was Ivy Dorielle Antoinette de la Noir Scott, and she was supposed to be the incredibly shy and incredibly intelligent one, who hid behind her friends, had problems with being called a mudblood and was not that interested in being a lady as much as Beauxbatons wanted her to be.
Now: She's really come into her own as far as confidence and shyness is concerned. Her family and heritage also grew a lot. She does however appear to be much less brilliant than shew really is, which I need to fix, and has a darker, grumpier, negative, more sarcastic side that I did not intend for her to have. I do however like how she got into quidditch.
Alexei:
Then: I pretty much just created him because I wanted someone who wasn't British or French, a Gryffindor and so we could have an exchange student from Durmstrang. He was meant to be adventurous.
Now: Alexei has expanded greatly as a character. There are still some parts of him that I don't really know about, but he has shown himself as a nice, brave, caring person. He's a Russian American but still fits in. He cares deeply about the things he loves, including Anya and Veronica. I should have made him a lot more adventurous like I wanted but I haven't really had the opportunity yet. I do like that he's an athlete as well.
Anya:
Then: Anya was created so Alexei could have something to fight for in that world takeover (was that the first or second one?)
Now: Anya grew a whole lot too. She's kind of taken a mix of Veronica's and Isabella's intended places. She's quiet and known but doesn't really fit in or have friends over her own, she just kind of hangs around her brother and his friends (I think Anya and Lori would get along). She seems to have the little girl innocence and older brother adoration that I was going for, she's sweet and kind, she's almost angelic.
David:
Then: He was just meant to give Veronica some family since she was an only child.
Now: He's really not expanded very much beyond that, I should make him grow a lot more but I have zero inspirartion for him usually. He does have a hobby, painting, and a history, and he did just get his parents back though.
Remy and Eddie are not old or different enough to do this for.
Evan Smith:
Then: He was just supposed to be that funny prankster teacher that everyone likes but all in all was not supposed to be a major part of the thread.
Now: Um, that is not what happened at all. He is the funny prankster teacher that most people like. However he's got history, family, personal issues, has adopted one of my characters and has a fiance. He has changed so much he's easily on of my most developed characters, and I never intended him to be. I blame Melanie and Georgie as the primary reasons why this is.
Morgan Claybourne:
Then: She was meant to be a former healer, friend of Harriet or Jay and an inspiration/mentor to Veronica.
Now: She hasn't developed much but she has developed. She has a snappy side when she gets angry, can be strict even. She seems to be pretty helpful but still pretty background. She doesn't have much of a connection to Veronica, she really should though. I just gave her a bit of a past, which ois good.
Darius Roric:
Then: He was just meant to be Luke's godfather the auror, popping in occasionally when the professors needed him.
Now: His past is very developed and it and his destiny intertwines closely with Luke's. He has become similar to Evan and a close friend of Evan, he's become more of his own person.
