Chris: "I have nobody to go with. Besides, Ivan already told me that he could watch over Lori for tonight. Big brother responsibilities are now starting to fall on him."

"Ev, I'm really sorry. Please know that I am trying. I want Harriet to know how bad I feel, okay? I'm sorry all of this is happening again, but I am trying as much as I can. I love you."
She fell to the ground again, cackling and twitching.

Melanie: She had frozen, silent tears streaming down her face. She opened her mouth to speak, but couldn't. "I-d-Evan," she whispered, a cry for help. Her own emotions were confusing her. Could it be possible that she'd fallen for him, after so many years of pushing dating from her mind? "I love you," she said to Corbin, just as the realization slammed into her.
