Melanie: "I know, Darius," she sighed. "I almost went into auror training."

Darius: "Really?" He shrugged. After a minute, he decided it was a good thing. Melanie was too emotionally charged, this here had shown him that she might not be able to focus well and get the job done in emotionally strenuous situations.

Georgie: She put her face in her hands. "Insanity." she whispered, over and over. "Insanity."

Jane: She walked over to Holly. " So, I guess you're staying."

OOC: none taken. It really is true, though I don't think she was or is normally this bad. And sorry for the length of this.

Melanie: "It was an option, and I was going to go through with it. It was the final battle, though, that changed my mind." Melanie was one of those children who knew what they wanted to do at a young age. She'd watched her mother teach at a muggle primary school during her early childhood years, and she'd always wanted to teach. Her mind had changed the summer after her fifth year, when she witnessed death eater attacks. After the final battle, though, she realized that she didn't know whether she could handle being an auror, and, more importantly, how Hogwarts was targeted far too often. She wanted to be there to protect the students. During her school years she had been able to handle a lot more than she apparently could at the moment because of the memories, though the fact that so much had happened in a week didn't help. She knew what could happen, now, and it haunted her.

Jane: She walked over to Holly. " So, I guess you're staying."

Holly: "I don't have anywhere else to go, so yeah. I'm staying."

Georgie: suddenly, the frown that was on her face turned into a sinister smile. She put her hand on Melanie's shoulder, but then started squeezing her pressure point. She started to giggle. "Squeeze." she said, quietly.

Georgie: she slapped Melanie and Darius. "Hee Hee. It made my hands tingle." she then started to slap herself. "My face tingles!"

Georgie: "Mela-nee! Why are you being so mean to me?" she struggled to free her hands. "First you take my pretty knife away, and now you aren't letting my hands and face tingle! Evan wouldn't do this! He would be nice and let my draw pictures with my knife and let my face tingle forever!" she said, giggling.

Melanie: Her grip loosened a little out of shock at what Georgie had just said. After a moment, she shook her head and tightened it again.
