Hogwarts RP part 10

Melanie: She watched over her students as they took their exams.

Nagini: She finished quickly and looked up at Melanie with a pleading expression. She wanted to go back to Jackson badly.

Chris, Tori, and Bass: They were all taking their Transfiguration exam.

Phyllis: Phyllis then swallowed. "Georgie, you mean it?"

Georgie: "With all my heart."

OOC: Since I'm reading 'To Kill a Mockingbird', I found out why Scout and Jem call their father by their first name. It's a sign that they're not just family, they're also equals and friends. I like to think that with Georgie and her kids (except Lily) too.

Phyllis: "I promise I'll make you proud in the muggle world."

OOC: I liked that book when I read it freshman year

OOC:
I've never read it. We're reading this book called Matched by Allie Condie in English. For some reason my teacher doesn't do classic books, which slightly annoys me.

OOC: It's hard to get students interested in classics.

OOC: did anyone have to read Sarah's key?

OOC: did anyone have to read Sarah's key?

OOC: Nope.

And that's true, Wings. I just feel like she gives in a little too much to my classmates (as you can see, I'm the minority) but at least we're learning.

OOC: Lucky. It's the worst and saddest book ever:

OOC: The Book Thief is the most depressing book I've ever read, although the Giver is another I really despise.

OOC: I liked the giver. I didn't read the book thief, but I know what it's about.

OOC: I wasn't a huge fan of the Giver, but I loved the Book Thief.

I remember reading Number the Stars 4th, 5th and 6th grade. It got a little old.

OOC: I suppose I've just read too many Utopia books. I think I'm going to ship myself to your school, wings ;)

OOC: I'm in the 3 year GT English program, which means we have 1 teacher for three years (I'm on my third year....I now understand why most of the juniors get emotional at the end of the year in GT English) and you have 9th, 10th, and 11th graders in your class.

9th grade we/I read Invisible Man (by Ellison, not Wells), The Great Gatsby (I liked that one), Huckleberry Finn (sorta, not that much), King Lear (the only person I liked in that play was Cordelia and she died), To Kill a Mockingbird, The Glass Menagerie (meh), Fahrenheit 451 (sorta, not that much), The Grapes of Wrath (sorta), The Scarlet Letter (meh) and I'm forgetting something but I'm not sure what

last year we/I read The Iliad, The Odyssey, Elektra, Julius Caeser, Henry V, Don Quixote (meh), Things Fall Apart, and I'm forgetting stuff but I'm not sure what

So far this year we've/I've read The Agony and the Ecstasy (which was in fact agony) Othello, Frankenstein, Jane Eyre and I think that's it so far, though I might be forgetting again

I can't remember which year I read A Raisin in the Sun, but that was good. Best non-Shakespeare play I've read
