OOC: I suppose I've just read too many Utopia books. I think I'm going to ship myself to your school, wings
OOC: I'm in the 3 year GT English program, which means we have 1 teacher for three years (I'm on my third year....I now understand why most of the juniors get emotional at the end of the year in GT English) and you have 9th, 10th, and 11th graders in your class.
9th grade we/I read Invisible Man (by Ellison, not Wells), The Great Gatsby (I liked that one), Huckleberry Finn (sorta, not that much), King Lear (the only person I liked in that play was Cordelia and she died), To Kill a Mockingbird, The Glass Menagerie (meh), Fahrenheit 451 (sorta, not that much), The Grapes of Wrath (sorta), The Scarlet Letter (meh) and I'm forgetting something but I'm not sure what
last year we/I read The Iliad, The Odyssey, Elektra, Julius Caeser, Henry V, Don Quixote (meh), Things Fall Apart, and I'm forgetting stuff but I'm not sure what
So far this year we've/I've read The Agony and the Ecstasy (which was in fact agony) Othello, Frankenstein, Jane Eyre and I think that's it so far, though I might be forgetting again
I can't remember which year I read A Raisin in the Sun, but that was good. Best non-Shakespeare play I've read
