Jolie: although she was upset that Jean Pierre had to kill himself, she was also happy he was dead, because they were together.

Chris: He took some time in the Forbidden Forest to clear his head.

It was May.

Edeline: She had finally gotten around to studying for her NEWTS. When she wasn't studying, she was with the Gryffindor Quidditch team. She was gearing up to play the championship match, Gryffindor versus Hufflepuff. She figured Hufflepuff would win, Lucas Sullivan was the best Hufflepuff seeker and captain since Cedric Diggory, but she'd give them a fight.

Lucas: He was studying for his OWLS. When he wasn't studying, he was with the Hufflepuff Quidditch team. He was gearing up to play the championship match, Gryffindor versus Hufflepuff. He figured they would win, so he wasn't too worried about it. Worried about his OWLs, that was something different entirely.

Alexei and Veronica: They were outside, enjoying the spring day. They were still close, and had no worries. They spent all their time together when they could, they knew Alexei would soon return to Durmstrang.

Isabella: She was reading alone. Over the past few months she had become more accustomed to and accepting of her new life. She was quite close to the Smith family, her family now. She had dated a few different boys, but it was all short-lived and she wasn't truly regretful that it was.

Eris: Eris was constantly moving, never having the courage to write to her uncle. She had to stay on the move, for she couldn't let anyone kill her. She didn't go to classes these past few months. When next year came, it simply wouldn't matter how angry her uncle would be with her. She had to keep herself safe.

Alec: Alec hadn't seen Eris in months. He was still working at the school, but he had never seen her. He wished he hadn't said anything.

Eris: Eris took a potions knife out of her pocket and carved her intials into the tree. EL. She looked at the intials and let a few tears fall from her face. More. Eris heard a snap in the bushes and whirled around in fear, ready to leave if it was an auror.

Chris: Chris appeared in a small clearing in the woods. He could have sworn he heard something. No one was there.
