hobby lobby questions

i will be visiting my father in NC/SC in a few weeks and i cant wait to get into hobby Lobby!!! Anyone know if they will take other craft store coupons like Joanns and Michaels? And do they have a digital flyer online? I would like to see what is on sale before i go. ANy one see the pooh carts in the stores yet - usually hobby lobby gets things alot sooner than Michaels, ac moore or joanns

Yes, there flyer is on their website, as well as a printable coupon. Sometimes it's 40% off one item, but they also do coupons for other things (Wilton, and other things I can't remember).

The 40% off coupons are not good for Cricut carts. I have not seen the Pooh ones yet, but their prices are usually about $59.99 everyday, whereas Michael's is $89.99. Enjoy! Hobby Lobby has a great selection!

Just remember: HL doesn't have scanners, so make sure all your items have price tags!

I have a love hate relationship with Hobbly Lobby... they have an annoying tendancy to up the prices on items as soon as they see the trend going that way. A while back when beads were hot they raised the prices... now that was not what made me so angry with them, it was the fact that they did not remove the old price stickers, they simply placed the price increase ones on top and not well. So I did not shop there for a year, when they kept having scrapbook stuff on sale at 50% I finally broke and went back.

They will not accept other coupons, will not price match and will not allow you to use coupons on anything that is Cricuit.

BUT as frustrating as they can be they do have a nice variety of stuff and they are consistent in their sales cycle. You can almost guarantee that stickers and paper will be 50% every 4 weeks. One of the managers told me to watch the paper and you can see the cycle...

I'd take that one step further, if you are going to be in town a while. If they have a 40 off coupon on the email print a bunch of them. You can use one per day. So bring some family in there and stop when you drive by. Obviously this only makes sense for larger items (it's not worth it on a 1.25 glue stick.) But good to know.

Also, their sales are often restrictive, so read the fine print so you don't get the wind taken out of your sail--now they have stickers 50% off, but that doesn't include 3-d dimensional stickers--so you're not going to get jolee's at half price...

I was in the HL here in GA yesterday - no Pooh carts yet. They do not accept competitors coupons. Their prices are good, though, and they have great sales.

No Pooh cartridges at Hobby Lobby in Texas either. But they do have some of the new Cuttlebug dies and embossing folders.

So funny, I am going to my visit some family in Auburn, Al. in June- they have a Hobby Lobby as well, and I am so excited to go there and Sonic too, the sweet tea is sooooo good. It's funny what different states have, although here in Maryland we have Krispy Kreme and Chick-Fil-A.

I was just at HL yesterday and used my 40% off on a disney cuttlebug die. They also had lots of new ( to me anyway ) stuff. I was also at Michaels and didn't find one thing to use my coupon on. Same old stuff. No disney cuttlebug and they were sold out of the Mickey cricut carts.
