HOB - Gospel Brunch

Hi all,

has anyone been to the Gospel Brunch at HOB. We had a look on the HOB website and it does look good.

All honest opinions gratefully accepted

Have read several reviews in various places (can't remember which were where!) and all were complimentary - although I think some people were put off by the 'in your face' gospel-ness of it! They suggested you asked for a table in the background.
If you're fine with participating enthusiastically then it seems to be a hit with most people. The choir changes so maybe there's a difference in the experience accordingly.
We have no problem with it and are looking forward to our visit in July! (praise the Lord and pass the biscuits!!)

Before I respond to this message I must point out that I am not at all religious, quite the reverse in fact.

We (3 adults, 2 kids, 7 and 11) did lunch recently and absolutely adored it. The food was the best buffet I've ever eaten. The entertainment was wonderful, and not at all "in your face". Some fellow diners became involved with the singing, but that was entirely their own choice. There was no pressure whatsever. We had a table right at the front and felt sorry for those who found themselves in the background.

This is one of those shows where everybody came out smiling.

To me, this is a must do from now on.
