Oh no! am I a scrapbook hoarder?:eek:Trying to organize my room again, I have tools and gadgets that are still not used and in thier original packaging.I just need to write a NEED list for my scrapbook weekend retreat then stay AWAY from all stores.:laughing:If that will ever happen.

You mean we aren't supposed to have tools still in the box that we haven't used? :confused3 ;) :lmao:

My name is Lisa, and I am a scrapbooking hoarder.... also,
My name is Lisa, and I am a scraplifter...

whatcha gonna do about it? ;) :lmao:

I guess I thought that was what it's all about.

She who has the most toys wins:lmao: That's what Tom says any way and he decided mom won:eek:

My name is Christy and I'm a HOARDER

It's not hoarding, it's COLLECTING, and yes, there IS a difference! ;)

Jill...who is guilty of it no matter what it is called...

Guilty as charged! Especially when it comes to paper and anything Disney related!

me and the girls in my crop circle here in AZ are having t-shirts made with this on the back.

" Scrapbooking is Hoarding with a Purpose"

My name is Surina and I AM a paper and Scrapbook hoarder!!:thumbsup2

I'm going to make some shirts with iron on vinyl. Mine is going to be "Paper Ho" (short for hoarder!).

Ditto...LOL!!!

except my name is not Lisa!

If there is something any of you ladies would like made into a sticker my DH's BFF owns a graphics company so I can get stickers for your car or rooms made :-)

I am a scrapbook "collector"...my hoarding is in Martha Stewart products...I swear that woman needs a plaque upon her house so that I will keep some of my money! :lmao:

I think I might just send my wages to the US and ask all the scrapbook shops to share it out and send me stuff - it would save me trawling through the sites:lmao:

I dabbled in scrapbooking about 10 yrs ago when it first became popular. Well, I'm back but now focusing on cards instead, and maybe a modified scrapbook method for trips only.

Does the fact that I still have all the paper and tools from years ago make me a hoarder too? :rotfl2:

Problem is, the paper today is so much cuter. ;)

Oops. I just HAD to go to Michaels today but I also have the perfect reason why- I had a 50% coupon. My DH even drove me and I wasn't feeling good but I had to go.I think that my DH allows me so he can go fishing tomorrow and we are going on a Scrapbooking Cruise next Nov.

It's been about 2 years since I last posted, and I just had to check out the scrapbooking site. You ladies are too funny!!!

I just wanted to add to the thread about hoarding. I guess I am in that group also. I live an hour away from any scrapbooking stores. Even Walmart is 30 minutes away. I'll see something and buy it for the "just in case".

I have a bedroom in my basement that I've converted into my "mom's cave" with a sign made by my daughter that hangs outside the door that says "mom's". Inside my cave--I have 6 6' shelves, 2 paper stackers that are 4' , a stackable modular unit from Michael's that is 3 units tall, a closet with 12' long shelves (6 of them), and a 6'tall handcrafted cabinet that holds 13 of the 13x13x2 plastic boxes that Michaels has on sale all the time. I guess that the 40+ cricut carts qualifies also.

I just went to a yard sale and got over 500 sheets of 12x12 cardstock, cause you can never have too much, plus all kinds of other stuff.

Fortunately for me, my husband scrapbooks too. Makes it alot easier to get stuff.

Yes, my Name is Lora and I too am a scrapbook hoarder. Are there any Scrappers Anonymous groups out there?!

I got side tracked, sorry.

I meant to write that I have found an easy way to keep my brain together when shopping for stuff. I have a ~5x7 spiral notebook that I keep in my purse. It took a little bit of time to get it together, but saves me from trying to remember what I have and don't.

I got a pack of the little sticky tabs that are about an inch wide and 1/2 of it adheres to the pages. Sorry can't remember what they're called, but they're in the office supplies.

I made different sections in the notebook. I have about 10 pages per section. Then I labeled the tabs of each section. Punches, Borders, Scissors, Creative Memories, Stampin Up, Cuttlebug, Cricut, Other tools, etc. Then I went thru my room and wrote down what I had in each section. For the scissors and borders sections, I cut a small piece of cardstock showing the cut, so I could recognize it. With my punches, I have them labeled as mini, small, med, etc and the maker of them.

It stays in my purse so that if I do find myself making an unexpected trip, I can look to see if I have it or not.

There is a company that makes something similar to this called Artfully Scribed, but this cost me $3 compared to ~$30.

ricook ... I must say you are an organized hoarder tho.
My stuff is all over the place. In boxes, bags ... on the kitchen table. I'm afraid to buy any of the cheap, retiring carts in M's because I may possibly have them but not remember. I would love an organized scrap room.

Wow rlcook, sounds like you have a wonderful scrap area and to be that organized with your book is amazing!:worship:

I do also hoard, love my paper!!! still have lots of swap stuff from a couple of years ago that I really do need to use.

sometimes I do forget and buy a duplicate item...esp stickers, but figure they will get used up someday!

my DH was always supportive with my "obsession" to scrap shopping, though he'd probably be shocked on some of my purchases. Although the last couple of years hadn't been scrapping much so my shopping had cut way down, making up for lost time now though :rolleyes1
