Ho often do the 50% flash sales pop up?

Title says it all really guys, how often do the 50% flash sales pop up? Do you experts think there will be another one this year that includes Christmas dates?

there were 3 or 4 flash sales last year, they seemed to pop up every couple of months or so. I don't recall if they included any Christmas dates, and no-one knows if there will be any more this year.
