Ho Jo's Entertainment Book Question

Ok I finally figured out where to put the code, but BUMMER the prices stayed the same, even after clearing cookies.
The best price I can get from HoJo Nov 26-30 is $119 the first night and $149 the next 3 nights for a Disney view room:sad1:

Erika

Erika, don't give up. It is a bit early for these dates to be released as an Ent. rate. Based on last year, they should come up as Ent. rate, or at least some of the dates should.

I would give Lorealle a call at the HoJo in house reservations and have her check the dates for you.

so, i've put my dates in on the website and the code and the good rates are coming up. i would like the $74/disney view but i don't have a book! where do i get a book, do you have to present it at checkin? i'm from alabama!!

Go ahead and reserve. You will need the card from the book at check-in. If you are going prior to Nov 1, 2008, you will need the 2008 book, which you can order at entertainment.com. Go ahead and order one for your area or an area where you think you can use the coupons most.

Do you need to register the card or anything. My kids sold these darn books @ school. Do I just need to grab the card and bring it? Also can I use it for my brother also?

My card had a sticker that said I must register the card online for my membership to be fully activated.

The HoJo won't check to see if the card is activated or not. They just want to see the card -- and actually, sometimes don't even ask to see it. :rolleyes1

Erika, I need to edit this because I just realized that these are Thanksgiving weekend dates. You won't get an ent. rate b/c of the holiday.

it's funny.. i was a ap holder last year and every time i checked in to my resort they never asked to see my pass. do you think i have a better chance of booking online? i would be a nervous wreck checking in. would they just turned me down if i didn't have it with me?

the last time i called in to check et rates, they said that they were working on making a webpage available to check and see which dates the full et rate was available so that those of us who have to check day by day online everyday wont have to! i hope they hurry and get that up!

they usually check et cards and aps. if they ask and you dont have them with you- they charge you the full rate of the room.

I just posted a question about the entertainment book. WHich city do you have to buy for to get the HoJo discount? Thank you!

Any entertainment book will work.....It doesn't matter where it is from. You just need the card that comes with it. I buy the one in my area so that I can use the other discounts here at home.:)

okay, i just booked our room for june w/the $74 rate w/a disney view!!! the lady i spoke with said i would have to have the card to check in. so, i will be buying one online. now, i can buy one in my area and it will have this card inside it right?

::yes::

I work for Entertainment and they have rolled out a monthly subscription rate. You pay $9.99 for one month. You can print offers online that are only available to card holders or subscribers. You can print the other offers available in you area throughout the one month and then it will shut down if you do not resubscribe. As far as a discount. You should be able to get a 10% discount any time. The 50% off rate or "best available" rate are subject to black outs. 10% doesn't evn cover the tax but it does help!

9.99 for one month? :lmao: I paid $15 for my book for the year.... (with $20 of Safeway discounts...)

Entertainment is only offered in 160 cities. This subscription is for people like my parents who have no book within 5 hours of their home. They can pay the $9.99 and save money on their travel (hotels, car rentals etc..) without having to pay $25 for the Dallas book which is their nearest local market. Of course they get free books from me for San Antonio, but if I wasn't working for E this would be a cheaper option for them. I always bought 2 books a year before I started working for them because there is an amazing savings. But it is only a savings if it is offered in your market

Mousiemom, what are your dates? And what was the number you called? I'm not getting a discount rate online for our 6/12 - 6/18 dates, and would love to get that $74/night rate.

Im not getting the discount either for June 27 - July 1. I keep getting 119.00 a night.

Is it SD5 (0) zero or SD5 letter O

looks like 0 zero

The code is SD five zero as in fifty. It is not very common for the rate to be offered during the summertime when they are easily booked over 80% full. You can always ask for the Disboards discount of 15% off. That is available anytime.

we will be there 6/5 and checking out 6/12. i called the number that is on the website. i wonder why it's not coming up???
