We just made the plans final.We will be down 12/3-12/8 at CB.We have never been at this time.DH and I can't wait.I'm sure once DD & DS are let in on the surprise they will be screaming.I am waiting for the tickets for MVMCP to arrive

Just an FYI to those spending Christmas day at the World.....We were there for Christmas on 2001 and obviously had presents to wrap. There is NO WHERE to buy wrapping paper on the property. One of the CM's were nice enough to give us a BUNCH of tissue paper. After we wrapped, we put Disney stickers all over the boxes.

So, if you'll need to do some wrapping, bring your own, or if you rent a car - you'll need to go offsite.

Looks like I will just miss you. We will be heading back on the 23rd. Plus I am jealous that you get the WL, parents waited too long to decide on this trip and we have to take that other "lodge". I will be visiting WL though. Maybe I will just sleep in the lobby, think they will notice?

Boy, all these people going to Disney World at Christmas! And some of you are going every year and more than once a year!
I am just choking at the prices for going there for just two days!
Anyway, I was wondering what MVMCP stands for (amongst other abbreviations I've noted).
Also, I saw that on the Disney website, their calendar shows that the Magic Kingdom is going to be open on Thanksgiving day until 11pm, which is great. Does anyone know if that is the case for Christmas Day? This will be my 2 kids' (G8, B4) first time there, and we are going right on Christmas Day. They don't have the calendar posted for December on the Disney website yet, so does any former Christmas visitors remember how late it might be open?
What are the crowds like on Dec 25th? As bad as the rest of the week, or are we a rare lot of fools spending our Christmas day with Mickey?
We are very excited about going then, and want as much excitement as possible!
Any other exciting things happening on that day?

DH and I will be at the Yacht Club Dec 4-7 and then will be going Home to the WL Dec 7-13. We can hardly wait for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) and the Candlelight Procession.

Leaving afternoon 12/26, driving to GA, arrive US 12/27 for 2 nights, then checking in Pop Century 12/29 - 1/4. Me, DH, DS 11 and DS 14. This will be DH first Disney trip ever and me and the boys can't wait!

MVMCP stands for Mickey's very merry Christmas party but unfortunatelyit ends befor Christmas Day. MK will be extremely crowded on Christmas Day but you have to do it at least once. make a PS for one of the character meals to enjoy the characters.The one at Contemporary is great way to see them and on Christmas Day they are having a brunch. You can make your PS anywhere from 7:00-1:00. In the past MK has been opened until midnight. Have a great day and welcome to the DIS

Wow! Lots of people are going in December!

We're taking our 13 month old daughter for her first trip, along with my parents, my sister, and her boyfriend. We're staying at Port Orleans Riverside 12/7-12/13.
