Yes, one time per house and one time per ride. Not sure about the shows I think that is included as well - one time.

wow 150.00 for two ,, oh well my hubby says we will prolly be to scared after the firsr one :) i am glad we bought it just incase since it is all new to us its better than being sorry we didnt get it :) getting excited :)

Do not use the EPs if the wait time is under 20 minutes or so. Go through the stand by line then come back when the lines are longer.

i didnt see what time it opens and closes? were there on
a sunday thanks

Off peak nights (Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday) HHN closes at 1am I think...2am on weekends. The event starts at 6:30pm every night.

THIS. So much! I've seen people use their Express at haunted houses when it was only a 10 minute wait. Such a waste...

I bought Express Pass tickets for my husband an oldest son and they said they got looks from the guest in the regular line/standby line and a few disgruntled guest even went so far as to say a few words to them.

Why do people get so angry at the Express Pass for HHN? I mean good grief....it's not like they are free. No one gets this angry at Disney for using the Fast Passes and heck...they are free LOL

He would love to go again but we don't have more than 1 night to devote to it, so we'd have to get the Express Pass again.....he said that he'd rather just skip it if that's the case :(

i always buy the express for hhn.
this year i'm going with rof w/ep.

in all the past years, for bill and teds show, the express is valid for the 1st show of the night.

the express is good for once thru each house, ride and show.

Simple answer - alcohol. I've gotten some pretty rude comments from asking people if they'd mind putting out their cigarette as we wait in the queue as well.

The other reason probably comes down to money. Those buying the passes have discretionary funds that those not buying them don't have. They are probably resentful that someone is able to pay their way to the "front" of the line.

i don't see the hours listed this year on the site.
the past 2 years sundays closed at 1:00 and thursday at midnight.
(one wednesday i did years go ended at midnight also.)

think they will change all the non peak nights to 1:00, or just keep sundays open that late?

True....I didn't even think about Universal selling alcohol. Magic Kingdom doesn't....come to think of it we've never gotten rude comments at MK, AK or MGM. We have at Epcot though.....during F&W LOL

I hate that......and that he won't go again with an Express Pass because of it. He should just learn to tune people out and enjoy the park.

You just have to ignore the jerks. No reason to not have the best experience you can simply because someone might comment on it.

Maybe alcohol exacerbates the douchery, but at the end of the day an ****** is an ******. Unfortunately, you will find them everywhere, but it seems that HHN seems to bring quite a bit out of the wood work. As a local that attends HHN 15+ times in a year, I can attest that most of the a-holes are indeed local. I have not encountered anything that has personally truly pissed me off, and I have low tolerance for BS. That being said, I have be known to drink a bit during HHN, so I might not have noticed as much. That, and the express lines allow me to pass most of the tools anyhow. Try to shrug it off best you can and have a great time.

I have no idea what the hours will be this year...that was just a guess.

It will probably be the same: Sun/Thurs close at 1, Wed close at midnight, Fri/Sat at 2

It is probably also a matter of timing. I went last year and was rather freaked out by how much I was warned against it by Universal team members and former team members who said that it was a very rough event with a lot of arrests. The only reason I went the first time is that I got to go to the team member preview and take my husband for $10. We had so much fun that I bought a Frequent Fear pass for him so don't let the nay-sayers turn you away from a good time. Just go early because the later it gets the more trouble you are likely to encounter as people get drunker and drunker.

The haunted houses showed creativity and were not affected by the fact that there was still light outside once we got inside. My husband and I do not drink alcohol at all so we do notice when meaner people drink enough to lose their inhibitions about starting fights with anyone who happens to be around, but nobody gave we old folks any trouble.
