Only costs me gas + tolls + hotel + food
Last time was only ~300 for a few nights

I'll be there the first Saturday too, what was the longest you waited last year? Did you stay and scream? Finish them all? Thanks

The longest I waited was 45 minutes for Hellgate Prison at about 10pm, and I finished them all. This year I'll do the mazes before filming the scare zones. And I'll find out what mazes open at 8pm so I don't walk to a closed one like I did last year. Yes I stayed and screamed, got 2 houses done before they officially opened. I like this setup, and hope they let people do more than 2 houses while waiting. That would reduce lines if the stay and scream people can get more houses done before the official start.

The $47 Saturday night fee is fine with me. Less people in line. I still plan on going the first Saturday night.

I had a Frequent Fear pass last year and waited for about a hour on the first visit w/o the EP +. The first visit, on a Sunday, was pretty busy. We only got four of the houses done before everyone was tired of waiting in lines. The second time I went I got the EP + and didn't wait longer than 10 mins for ANY of the houses but I went on a Thursday night.

i have now spent my children's inheritance on the universal trip.


bought the hhn tickets for three nights also the express pass plus for hhn nights.

ticket costs have raised a lot since last year.

i bought direct from ticket sales. if i would wait until the universal web site for sales got the tickets (express passes) i could have saved $50 more.
when you buy a multi day pass for universal, you get a discount for the stay and scream tickets.

i didn't want to chance it and not get them, so bit the bullet and bought all 6 at one time. over $304.............just for the hard ticket event......geesh....
but , all set now. the express tickets do sell out quickly. some nights for hhn sell out also........after booking the air, hotel, day passes, etc......no way could i miss out on hhn.

the news just gets better and better............

received an email on my order from yesterday for hhn and was told it will be modified if i can send them the conf # of my multi day pass i bought from the universal online ticket site.

did that and woowie.....have almost a $70 refund on the way.

if you buy a multi day pass, you can buy hhn tickets at a discount . it is called the ADD ON ticket for hhn.

here are the rates:
fri. $42.33
sat. $ 52.98
sun - thur $26.36


now have the hhn at a discount and the express passes.
if you have an AP for universal, call the ap line for discounts on hhn tix.
since i don't have one, i do not know if it is a better deal then what is listed above. i would hope that pass holders get better deals than what i have.

From what I've heard/read, these are the AP prices though I keep getting "There are not any AP prices yet" when calling.

25.75-Off Peak
37.75-Fridays
47.75-Saturdays

We get a small bit better prices than you, but not too noticable, pretty sad that we're AP holders and it's a few cents difference on non-peak, 5 bucks on Fridays, and 5 on Saturdays.

i called the ticket line, toll free number, and on the menu for the tickets one of the selections are for the ap holders.
had to go thru two menus to hear it though.
