Well I've got about 8 days to decide for the 7 month window for our spring break. DH would like to go. Kids say if you want (no the kids can not stay home from disney) It is our 20th wedding anniversary this year. We could go to Vegas a couple days without the kids or hit disney in March for a week with the kids. We have tickets already for disney we have one ticket for the dark side for one day and we would purchase another one day ticket. We do not eat expensively at the parks. We would stay DVC kicking around kidani 2 bedroom. We would invite my sister, she would do her own thing mostly, she has her own ticket too.
And we would invite our friends - as we are going - do you want to go same time? We did that with them before for disney. We swim together and then yak to each other at nite.
I know what a horrible decision to make. Hmmmmm what to do, what to do.

I love Disney. I mean love Disney. And there's no way I'd go there at spring break.

Imagine an hour wait for the Nemo ride at the seas.

Or an hour and a half for stitch's great escape in tomorrowland.

Oh, the horrors.

So go to Vegas and have a great anniversary. JMHO...

Our spring break is not by Easter this year. It starts march 11. We mostly use fasspass. Kids would be 15 and 13. We would see MK, two times typhoon lagoon, two different days. AK probably half day, other half HS. No Epcot, unless fireworks one nite. Day pool and then the dark side. We went that time frame about two years ago and we were ok. 2012 we went Thanksgiving week. We were good but we did wait over an hour for space mountain before our first fasspass time kicked in. Hmmmm still thinking.

Spring Break, nope! But, if your focus is not the "parks" but to just hang at the resort , cook for yourselves in the Kindani 2 bd, then you can make it work! It will still be very crowded, the common place areas, restaurants, pool etc., but it's doable.

The parks, no. I don't do 60+ waits, I stopped that long ago, in fact , it's 15 minutes or less actually!

we went 2 spring breaks in a row (second week in march) and loved it. the weather is perfect and flower and garden is going on. with a decent plan and hitting the parks at opening, we never waited more than 20 minutes for anything. we took breaks in the afternoon as well when the crowds starting building. i have been during lower crowds and would not hesitate to go again during spring break.

I think your Spring Break is earlier than others. I would look at the crowd calendars before deciding.

South Florida, March 17 thru 23rd, other FL counties, a week before or after!

I don't like Vegas, so I would pick WDW. We go every year at our Spring Break (the second week of March) and it is crowded, but I think summer is even more crowded. Most of the crowds are from the music, dance and cheerleading student events. The weather is on the cooler side in March, so it's a lot easier to tolerate the crowds.
