LOL i noticed this too bearz. i had my DD run in to look at it before she left for work. we both agreed it looks like either a pile of dirty cotton or as she said, "a puddle of dirty water" But we are glad to have them! Woot!

My guess is that it's supposed to be a night time cloud. Sort of like in the pan ride.

Seriously, I've been wondering the same thing. And you can't say ALR in VMK either... I hate it when they make a new item and you can't say the name in VMK (like, oh I don't know... Casey Jr.). Hmph!

150 new Dark Ride items they've been teasing us with for weeks and the first they grace us with is the Exxon Oil Spill rug (nice one No.me!)? Bah!

As far as the rug, I have always wanted a solid color rug. But, well, I was kinda thinking a fun color like blue, or red. Artists do sometimes have a strange sense of humor. I guess the rug is like, well, Dark!, as a dark ride prize. lol

Yeah goldengourd you can still get Sword pins during the Ride-a-thon, I got one today (another dud).

As for the carpet being black for the Dark Ride... I guess I wouldn't mind it so much if it was opaque and actually hide whatever it was that you were trying to cover...

Folks, I wouldn't judge this rug too quickly. Sure, you can paint the whole floor dark green, but you can also create some very nice smudge or shadow effects, and it looks different in every room. Treat it like a graphic paintbrush of sorts and start experimenting; you may be surprised!

Alice i was not being sarcastic. I really do love the rug and really have been wanting to build an oil spill room since green month. I think its a great item
