Hmmm just wondered how do you book your disney dining plan restaurants?

I am busy planning our trip for next Aug 2011.

Its been a couple of years since our last visit. I was wondering how do you book your wdw dining restaurants.

In past years I've always phoned ( not sure of the number at the moment)? but I understand you can do it online now? what website is it and is it easy to use?

We are staying at Boardwalk using our dvc points.

Is it still 180 days +10?

What do you prefer to do?

In 2009 we did them by phone, this year online, 10 times easier. You can see times available and options if not available. I hated doing it by phone last year.

I believe the site is still not working for 180+10, maybe someone who has tried recently can comment. It was working perfectly when we used it earlier in the year, don't know why they have to change things.

Wayne is correct - at the moment it is not working for the +10 and it tells you to call.

I tried at the weekend to book some for May - however as I can't be bothered to call and we only want a couple I will just wait and do them as each day comes to 180.

I will book everything online that I can!! Much easier and you can get your numbers printed off. But I hope the get 180 + 10 sorted before Feb!!

im doing mine online for may next year just worked out a plan for where we want to go and each day log on and book
as wayne said its so much easier as if the required restaurant and time isnt available they have alternatives
i have been able to get everything i have wanted each day no problem
just going to print put all my reservation confirmations before i go

I do the important/popular ones by phone. Then sort of browse online once my dates are available on there.

I do mine online, I find it much easier to move around times and dates.

I had to phone for group dining this year and it was really annoying!

Never has any problems getting what we want if your a little flexible with times - we have cinderellas royal table and le cellier booked this year which are meant to be really difficult to get.

Another vote for online - you can also select lunch or dinner times rather than a specific time, and it will show you availability throughout that "window".
