was the thread you posted in recently resurrected?

So you are the reason the board was closed for maintenance yesterday. You must have done soemthing pretty bad :lmao:

Just checked...yep it was. Guess that explains it. lol

Wouldn't that warning have expired now if it was given when your originally posted? Seems to me you are in the clear ;)

Good point! lol

However, I must ask...is "Don't get your panties in a wad" a major personal attack?

I am sorry, but JMHO, if there are going to be points awarded for something that someone says, it needs to be done with in 24 hours of the ORIGINAL posting, not several months later when someone comes late to the thread and adds a post.

And no I don't take "Don't get your panties in a wad" as a personal attack - major or minor. Sensitive much. I tell my kids this, when they start whinning. The newer whinning retort, thanks to DD, is - Cry me a river, build a bridge and get over it!!

Anyone else doing a search on your name for old posts??? Just sayin' :rolleyes1

Same thing happened to me a while ago when I used a play on words that included the letter B. It wasn't until someone had bumped it way after the fact that I was warned about it. I was upset at the time (I'm a goody two-shoes) but then realized that it really didn't affect me one way or another because I know I wasn't being offensive, and it was just someone else's perspective who happens to have thought I was. To each their own! :thumbsup2

I used the term "Don't get your tinsel in a tangle" recently here on the DIS....no warning/points for that! :rolleyes1

Well, if it is then "don't get your panties in a twist" isn't... I've said that a few times and no warning about that... maybe try twist instead :)

I don't think you should be posting this.
It is between you and the mod not you the mod and whoever is on the dis.
If you have a problem with it send a polite PM to the mod.
