History of DINGS Fares for Orlando

You got a ding for an Oct trip from IND to MCO? I didn't think those were out yet?

I am sorry, I should have been a little more clearer!!

We got the ding this morning for August, so decided to book another trip for August (during the free dining period).

Will be holding my breath for October dings sometime in the future!!

I'm sure the info I need is somewhere in this thread but I couldn't find it so could someone pleeease help me? I'm trying to get some idea of Southwest fares for next year May 23-31 to be exact so I was looking for a post that list the same dates this year. I will be flying out of Louisville so I need a page with the Louisville fares that included the above dates on it.

We've never flown Southwest we've always flown Delta so I thought maybe some of you that are really familiar with this thread would know right where to look. I hope this makes sense!!! I really appreciate any and all help!!!

Ugggghhhh....I've been waiting and waiting for a Raleigh ding for July, and when I first saw this one, I got so excited! All I saw was $39- $64 and 'travel everyday' and I was jumping up and down in my chair.....until I noticed it's only for August....

I'm signed up for the "click and save internet special" email, but I didn't receive this email. Does SW only send it to certain people? I'm waiting for November 4th (I know those rates aren't out yet) but I like to keep a close eye on the specials.

Hey neighbor!!

I'm in NC too, and my mom is in Baltimore.....with some of the Balt. fares, I have considered several times driving up and spending the night with her to fly out of there instead. Something just seems 'wrong' with driving 4 hours North, to save money going South!!

Can someone please explain to me how to get the Ding price? I live in Ral and see there is one for Orlando in Aug.

Helloooo neighbor!

Just go to southwest.com, there is a link right on the homepage that says Ding - Download Now. You'll be walked through the steps to download it to your computer. Then you will be notified, usually daily, when there is a Ding special available. The only way to book the Ding special is through your own link, you won't be able to see it if you just go to the regular reservations page (nor will the agents be able to book it for you over the phone).

Having said that, that great RDU ding from this morning already expired. The Ding was good through 3:30 our time. Hopefully, there will be more just like it!!!
