I am desperately waiting for a ding from New Orleans to Orlando for dates of Dec11 and Dec 16.... please tell me I havent missed it!! Has anyone seen a ding for these airports and time frame??

Yes, definitely a thing of the past. I can find better deals from Philly on Airtran than what SWA offers as a ding from Jacksonville to MCO.

I was thinking the same thing - no ding!s for months now. Looking at airfare to/from my son's graduation right now & I'd hold out for a Southwest Ding if I saw any promising signs that they're still using the system. SWA's prices are currently close to double the cost of JetBlue in and out of the Carolinas.

Despite my hatred for Logan, looks like I'll be booking Jetblue as soon as I can nail down which flights I want.

No end in site IMO ! Flying out of PHL currently is crazy!
Last night I switched to Baltimore for $221 RT
Worth the 72 mile drive as I bought 5 tickets.
This morning the same tickets were $278

Actually there are DINGs almost everyday but this thread never gets updated anymore. I don't see a lot of MCO Dings from my area, usually the DINGs are for Florida markets to/from Florida markets which doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Why in the world would you fly from Orlando to Jacksonville or Panama City Beach? Way quicker just to drive.

I'll try to start updating the thread. I'm usually on my phone though so it makes it much harder to update the thread. Just checked my phone app and no DINGS available currently.

I'd rather drive to BWI than all the way to FL.
For us though, I know dh would rather pay a little more to fly out of Philly or AC. We got $78 down on SWA and $105 back on AT for Sept. Could have done better if we were more flexible with our dates. Oh well.

No you have not. DINGS have still been for April last I saw, I am waiting for May which should be any day now. They go about two months ahead because DINGS are a way to promote for last minutes sales.
