Historically, does DVC amend the point charts every year? I noticed the weekends went down in points for 2010 and was wondering if this was a trend? Also, would it be fair to say the annual dues goes up at roughly the same percentage as the hotel rates?

Thanks.

The 2010 change, which mainly shifted points from weekends to weekdays, was only the second change in DVC history. The first was in the early 1990s when they made seasonal shifts of points for OKW to raise points in some seasons and lower in others.

No, it is not fair to say dues rise or fall in line with the rise or fall of hotel. Dues are based on costs of operating and maintaining the resort and usually rise annually as costs rise and the actual change can vary from year to year.
