Historic Bounce Back Bounceback Dates in connection to FD

For those who have been during FD over the past several years, what were the BB dates (that would be for FD the following year) that were offered?

Also, if you have any of the room flyers for the past several years let's include those here, too.

I do not understand. Do you mean that while I am at Disney this Aug. with free dining I might be able to book free dining for 2010 summer???

If they do like theyve done the last 3 years you will be able to book free dine for 2010 around the same time usually mid/late august to early oct

Yes, if a bounceback offer is made to you it will require that you book before you check out of your room. So if you check out, go to a park, meal, etc. and then try to book it they may be sticklers and say no way Jose.

They only require the $200 deposit, so just keep that amount handy on a cc so you give yourself the option. We did this in 2007 for 2008. Unfortunately we were not able to make the trip and cancelling and getting the deposit back was a breeze.

My advice: if there is any chance you might go in 2010, book it. You already know what a great deal FD is 'cause you're going this year.

By the way "bounceback" is a generic marketing term. It means to get the consumer to "bounceback" to your store, resort, theater, etc. to spend more money. Common examples: coupons on reciepts or ticket stubs, bag stuffers, follow email offers, etc.

There has only been one time last year they offered a room discount as well as free dining but only at Old Key West and Saratoga Springs

Does this mean that only free dining is usually offered as a bounceback for next year? We really want to go back late Jan/early Feb so were hoping for the room discount bounceback so we can stay in a DVC villa. Anyone remember from last year?

I don't quite understand what you are asking.
For 2008, they offered the bouceback with free dining + room discounts on Saratoga and OKW only. Is that what you were asking?

I'm not sure if my info will help or not...

I was there 10/7-10/15/08 with FD. I had a bounceback flyer in my room, but the dates I think ended on the 3rd in Oct. 09. I called and asked about 10/8-10/12/09 and they said that would qualify also for FD.

I didn't think to photograph the flyer.

Yes, based on the last couple years anyway the only BB offered for stays offered to resort guests during the Free Dining period has been to be able to book Free Dining again for the next year - no room discounts for other dates, etc. The Jan/Feb BB don't usually start until around the November before.

Could be different this year though!
