Hiring mobile phones?

I would like to hire two mobile phones for use when we visit in Oct/ Nov! Does anyone know of a company that does this in Orlando?
Alternatively I have heard that the prepaid, pay as you go, phones are cheap to buy out there! I would like if possible to buy them before we go, anyone have any advice?
