Hiring a Boat.

Hi guys,

I'm visiting The World in June and have started looking into hiring a boat. However, the more I look into this, the more questions I have.

-Are the small power boats called Sea Raycers?
-I assume these can be hired from Poly, Contemp., Downtown Disney etc.?
-What are the prices for hiring these small boats?
-Would you recommend hiring in the Bay Lake/SS Lagoon area or Downtown Disney area?
-Are there any restrictions/signposts/maps showing where you can and can't travel with these boats as the routes from Downtown Disney to places like POFQ look pretty narrow and tricky to find?

I'd really appreciate if anyone could help me with any of these questions as I seem to get little or conflicting info. from different sources.

Yep they are

Beats place is from polly as you go past MK plenty of times and its great going over the swill off the ferry

There are no wake in narrow areas low throtale 5mph i think

As for price carnt rember that plus we get discount in dvc,think if you have booked into a disney hotel you get a discount voucher as well

I think the sea racers are $30 for 30 min $40 for 45 min and $50 for an hour, but as I got annual pass discount am not 100% sure.

They are great fun though!
