Hire Car for 2022

Have you looked at rentalcars.com or Sixt rental cars

At the minute if I booked for 2 weeks next year, the car will cost almost as much as four flight tickets, I can’t get over it
Needless to say I’m holding off in the hope they come down (wrestled with should I just book so that I may have a car reserved )

As I did I booked the car hire without the insurance to begin with. Hoping that the insurance price comes down.
