I was watching this week's SNL with Vampire Weekend. Their song, "Give Up the Gun," really reminded me of a music video I remember watching maybe 9 or 10 years ago (especially the part where the backup singers join in). I don't think the music video was made in the 90's, but it's not vintage 60's either.
I can't for the life of me, though, remember the name of the band or the song. I remember watching it over and over, several times a day. It was hippies
in colorful mu-mu's, there were a bunch of them. I know it's super sketchy, but if someone knew the name of the band I'm sure it would all come back to me!
