Hints on Touring US/IOA/WWoHP

I'm planning a family trip for next winter (Yeah...planning mainiac) and I was wondering if there is any info out there about how to tour Universal Studios Orlando smartly to avoid lines, crowds, etc. I'm planning on spending two days there, probably in Jan or Feb 2012. I see plenty of "strategies" for Disney...but not U.S. I notice that "The Unofficial Guide" people might have something, but I also need info on the WWoHP also. If you know of any books, websites, etc. please let me know. Of course I will still patrol the DISboards. I would greatly appreciate anyone pointing me in the right direction. Thanks.

This is the best advice I have. You have plenty of time to catch up and to stay up to date before your trip.
