Hi all,

I have a slight dilemna. This is our first trip to Disney and I am not sure where to stay. I have ressies at both the Holiday Inn Maingate East ($85)and the ***($65) for July 26-31. Also if we do stay at the *** which section would you recommend. My husband, myself and 8 year old son will be going.

Thank you very much

LOL!! I'm assuming that the other resort you are talking about is the All Star Sports! The filtering software on the DIS "starred" out your abbreviation!

To me, it doesn't seem like much of a contest....All Stars (on site) at a cheaper rate than off site! You get the benefit of the Disney transportation and the "perks" of being Disney Resort guests (Early entry, E-night, etc.)

I say, go for it!

Definitely stay on site! Disney's transportation and the hospitality are unbeatable.

I stayed at that Holiday Inn years ago and must tell you that the buses they used to transport guests made me feel like just renting a car instead! No AC, crowded like sardines in a can, hot and very uncomfortable.

OOPS I'm a newbie to this board..lol I WAS referring to the All Star Sports.. Any suggestions as to which building

We stayed in the football building and found it convenient to food court, buses, pools.
