Can someone please suggest a good room at the WDW Hilton? We're staying for the first time this year and would like to be able to see the fireworks and a view of the pool, if possible. Also, how does the Hilton compare to MOWC? We've stayed there for the past 2 years (priceline) but got Hilton this year. Will we be disappointed?

What's MOWC?

We spent a night at the end of one of our stays at the Downtown Disney Hilton. I don't recall being able to see any fireworks from there. It's a nice hotel and the rooms were really clean.

We were just at the Hilton in early May for a conference. It's a very nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay there. Our room was huge!! We were on the seventh floor but I don't remeber the room number. I don't know that you would be able to see fireworks from there. It is pretty far removed from the theme parks. Great proximity to DTD, though. Just a short walk across the street.

You can see the fireworks from DD each night. I cannot remember our room number, but we saw them every night from our bed! I am not sure that you can see both fireworks and the pool though. Our room was on the pool side but forward from the pool so that we could not see it. Request a fireworks view at the front desk. The Hilton is very nice.

thanks for the info. how would you compare the hilton to the marriot orlando world center? (we're spoiled by the marriot. unfortunately, priceline didn't give us the marriot this year.)
does anyone remember what room they had that was a good one?
