Hilton Universal Hotels-Questions...

I am planning a trip to Orlando at the end of June for my daughter(14) and me. After months of cabin fever we are happy to visit Citywalk, Disney Springs and probably a beach. My husband is a Hilton Honors Diamond member and he needs 17 more separate visits to keep his status for next year. We plan on helping him by staying a couple of nights near Universal and a few nights near Disney Springs. I found an excellent thread on Hilton Walt Disney World Hotels and I was hoping to find some similar information about the Hilton properties near Universal such as which property is the closest to Universal, is it possible to walk to Universal, and any other information that makes you prefer one Hilton Property near Universal over another. All information is greatly appreciated. Thank you

The DoubleTree is within walking distance.

There’s a Homewood not too far away

The DoubleTree is closest, maybe a 20 minute walk. I prefer the Homewood.

Yeah when we do Universal we still stay at the Hiltons on International Drive closer to the Convention Center. I drive so only a few minutes to get there. Doubletree is likely the only one I would look at for Universal walking distance.
