Hilton near DTD to a Disney hotel?

I am considering renting a car for a couple days picking it up at the airport, going to Universal, then returning it at the Hilton at DTD (Avis says there is a drop off there). If I do this, what is the best way to get back to our Disney hotel? Cheapest??? I was thinking of one of us returning it, walking to DTD, and taking a bus back to our hotel. Is it a far walk to DTD? What do you think?

There is also a shuttle from the Hilton to the parks but it takes forever as it stops at all the parks.

The walk from the Hitlon to DTD is only about 10 minutes give or take. We have done this several times. From DTD you can take a bus to your resort.

The Hilton is kitty-corner from Once Upon a Toy. Easy walk to the DTD bus area (and an excuse to shop!)

I was thinking the same thing. Sure, there's a bus there but there is also SHOPPING!!!
