Hi can anyone tell me how easy is it to get from Hilton hotel at London Gatwick to the N. Terminal ?Directions would be a help please.( we are flying with BA.) Thanks

The monorail between the North and South terminals is closed for refurbishment until the summer, May or June I think, so they are running buses between the two terminals. Have you already booked the Hilton? If not, then I would suggest booking the Sofitel as it's at the North Terminal and IMO is the nicer of the two hotels.

It is an easy walk from the hilton to South terminal, through the edge of a carpark, undercover, all on one level so you can use a trolley for luggage. Lots of signposts so you won't get lost! Then monorail to North terminal, currently replaced with a bus service until the summer. We have booked Hilton with Tesco clubcard points and we are flying with BA.

Thanks, i was also looking into this and had seen the monorail was closed. We are staying at Hilton as much cheaper than Sofitel

We booked our Hilton for May and September back in the January sale, as it was a complete bargain! Thankfully we fly Virgin, so go from the South terminal. However, it's still very easy to get from the hotel to the terminal. We've done it two years in a row, with 3 people, a wheelchair, 3 suitcases and 3 sets of hand luggage! It's simply down a corridor, into the car park, and in through a door to the terminal!

Normally, it's a quick hop on the monorail, but obviously it will be a case of getting the replacement buses to get to north terminal. But I would imagine they would be pretty close to the main entrances and well sign posted! Well, one would hope...
