Has anyone been to Hilton Head during President's week? Are there any activities and are any of the food areas open during that time? Is this hard to book a one-bedroom at the seventh month window?

Can't help you about President's week, but I'm in the process of booking the week after that, and there's plenty of rooms available - even the hard-to-get studios/1BR. You're already within the 7-month window - call them tomorrow at 9AM to check on availability.

Tommy Towery's HH site has an activities schedule for last January, which would be one of the slowest times of year. It seems to have plenty to do even then. I don't know if this link will go there - it didn't turn blue, but you can give it a try, or perhaps someone else will give you the correct site address.

Good luck!

Thanks for the information. I wonder if anyone out there could tell us what types of activities might be going on for kids during February. Thanks again

We were at HH Presidents Day Week 98. Most Resturants on the Island were open. The resort still has a lot of activities going on but the Beach House was deserted most of the day.
They had Goofy Bingo, campfire, Un-Birthday Party, Gyatoga(fish painting on a shirt), different crafts programs, tours of the resort and marsh, and Dolphin Discovery just to name a few.

There will be plenty to keep the kids busy.
