I'm on a waiting list for a two-bedroom villa for just a few days after Christmas for three nights in Hilton Head. Anyone have an inkling on whether or not that might go through?

Also, we are a family of six (two adults, two teens, a 7-year-old, and a one-year-old) and we are bringing along my nephew (17 and a BIG boy) and niece (15). Will the two-bedroom be cramped for us? I'm also on the wait list for the grand villa. I'm afraid we'll all kill each other if the accommodations are tight.

If you can ride the wait list all the way I'd say there's a good chance it'll come through as long as NYE is not part of your request. If you can go the first week of Jan, I have some additional suggestions for you.

There aren't many studios and yes, it really is busy on HH for that time, more so that week than the week before. While there are units on II for the week of Christmas, there is only one unit for the week after, at the lowliest Marriott on HH. But you never know, wait and see what happens with the wait list.

Maybe we were able to help you. We just had to cancel two 2 bedrooms at Hilton Head, one 12/29-1/2 and one 12/30-1/2. Plans changed for family and we decided two weeks away from home over Christmas was just too long. At least we'll still have AKV the week before.

Someone was probably made very happy either way.
