Hilton Head or Vero Beach?

Which resort would be better for 3 kids, 3 and under- Vero Beach or Hilton Head? Hilton Head seems to have more activities for younger kids. Any opinions?

We have been to both resorts. Personally I would think with kids that young Vero might be best. The beach is right by the pool and they have a nice kid play area pirate ship by the pool. At HH you have to drive or take a shuttle to the beach. We have been to both this year and actually own at HH.

It all depends. The family and I have been to both. HH is less "self-contained" (with few dining options on-site), but has many VERY CLOSE places at which to eat and shop. VB is more self-contained, but everything else is quite a bit further away. The activities were enjoyed by the children equally.
