Hilton Head New Year's?

We're making our 3rd annual NYE trip to HHI on the 28th. Anyone else?

What's the weather like that time of year at Hilton Head? My DW's family is looking for a trip around New Year's next year and we've got all sorts of options open. Am interested in how New Year's is there.

We'll be there -- although probably not arriving until late on the 31st. We're driving from New England.

It's going to be 80 degrees here tomorrow, which means mid to high 70s on HHI (they are nearer to the ocean.

In 2009, it was warm in the day and cool at night, but, there were people in the pool at midnight.

I'll be there! But not until the 2nd, missing all the New Year's fun. But time on the beach in January sounds wonderful - can't believe it is less than 2 weeks away!
