Hilton Head must Dos?

We are planning a trip to HHI in July, any suggestions on what we need to do/see/experience?

We're here right now and loving it!! Are you staying at Disney's resort?

There is lots to do just depends what your family likes to do: beach, pools, golf, tennis, horseback riding, mini-golf, boating, dolphin tours, kayaking, sailing, paddle boarding, biking, fishing, crabbing, shopping, loads of great restaurants many with entertainers.

We are staying @ Grande Ocean. We are bringing our bikes, and plan on seeing Gregg Russell @ the lighthouse.

Riding bikes on the beach is awesome, but make sure the first leg of the trip is riding into the wind!

We always include an outside lunch at the Salty Dog and then the kids visit to the shops right there. Nothing like the sun shining, watching the boats, and sipping a refreshing frozen drink.

Don't forget Shannon Tanner at Shelter Cove and the Wacky Whizzle Cruise on Thursdays! We plan to hit the Salty Dog and Gregg Russell too. We like to eat at the Sea Shack and Crazy Crab.

The fireworks are in Shelter Cove on Tuesday nights.

I've thought about trying a pony ride at the stables this year (taking my girls).

Disney offers so many activities that we do thru them-- beach alks, sand castle building contest, Star Spangled Tuesdays, pool games, marsh walks, t-shirt making, crafts, magic shows, jewelry making, story telling--- so this all keeps us very busy as well.


I'm also looking for new ideas out on the island though!

honestly I find HHI more boring for kids than other beach locations,, but we never do a disney hotel there either,, just your usual mini golf, etc.
