hey-
we have some points availble to us and am considering a quick trip to hh. I have no idea if there is any space but before contacting member services wanted to know a few things:
does hh get alot of spring breakers and what is the weather like in march. thanks is advance.

Temps in March will range from low 60's to low 80's.

HH attracts many Spring Break families to enjoy the island, so most activities, shops and restaurants in open and in full swing by then.

The ocean will be too cool to enjoy a swinm but the resort pools are heated and can be very pleasant.

Enjoy!

Boy, did we worry about that the first time we went in March! We live near South Padre Island, one of the wildest spring break places in the country and I was so afraid of Hilton Head being like that. Well, it's nothing like that! As the previous poster said, there are a few more college kids-with their families. But certainly nothing wild!
As far as your other question, concerning weather, I think March is a great time to go weather-wise. But we're not swimmers-it's a little cool for the pool or ocean most days. But it's perfect biking weather, and the mini-golf places are nice and quiet. Very few bugs on the marsh compared to later in the season (at least that's what Bryan said last year). As you can see by my countdown, we're going in February this year, for one reason only. DH is a golfer, and the golf rates go up March 1. But I wouldn't be surprised if we switch back to March, Spring Break week, next year.
