Hilton Head in Late April??

Hi all:

We are <i>BRAND NEW</i> DVC owners as of yesterday's final paperwork!! We are thinking of using some of the banked points we got for a 4-day trip to HHI the last week of April (our school vacation). Can anyone tell me how the weather is that time of year....or if there's much to do? I'm not even familiar with their seasons down there. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

My wife, my kids (5 and 9 at the time) and I went there in late April of 2002. We thought the weather was great - highs of mid to upper 70s. We even went swimming. We did a kayak tour, some fishing and crabbing, a little golfing and some bike riding. All in all, we had a really good time. It was relaxing and fun. The kids did a couple of the planned activities at the resort which they enjoyed - cooking pizza and the unbirthday party.

We definitely plan on going back at some point.

Thanks for the reply, Tiggeriffic! I wish the search function was enabled....it would make for much less repeat questioning!

I've heard so many great things about HH...I'm hoping the weather will be warm enough in late April to enjoy many of the outdoor activities. I really am just looking to have a relaxing couple of days in beautiful surroundings.
