We were considering going to Hilton Head for winter break in Feb. I'm not expecting swimming weather, just curious if anyone has visited during that month and what the weather was like. We would be happy just strolling on the beach or going hiking. HH is a great resort to relax in and anything is better than Michigan in the winter!

We went once in late February and the weather was cold, windy, and rainy all week. It didn't get above the 50s. However, the cider in Big Murgie's Den was warm every afternoon and the cookies that accompanied it were delicious. Well worth the trip. And everyone said "Oh, you should have been here last week-the weather was in the 80s."

:rotfl2: I got that line a few times the one trip in March and it was only in the 60's. Bliss for us Buckeyes, but the locals were bundled up for a blizzard and I'm wearing shorts and a sweatshirt.

We were just there this Feb. The weather was wonderful. It was swimable in the heated pools as long as you bundled up right afterwards but the walks on the beach were wonderful! The temps were mid to upper 70's and we were there President's Day week. Shorts and t shirts mostly but jeans and sweatshirts at night. The weather this time of year can be a crap shoot but it does sure beat whatever we have here in the midwest. It was fun watching the temp in our car go up the farther south we got. By the same token, we drove back watching it decrease and hit snow showers in Tennessee! We are heading back in March.
