Can anyone with experience tell me how the "typical" weather is at HHI in early November (first week or two). I'm looking into a 2006 trip...the resort sounds so wonderful! However, I'm concerned that if the weather is too chilly to swim, we might not have much to do?! Maybe I'm wrong...after reading some posts it seems that there are plenty of activities for the kids aside from swimming. But I'd love to hear from anyone who took a family trip there in the "off season" or cooler months.
Thanks a million!

Amy,
So we usually end up having a relaxing day of shopping at the outlets or taking in a movie. We went to the Mellow Mushroom twice for pizza last trip b/c we just can't get enough of it! We also like to drive a few miles up the road to Burke's Beach Rd., park in the lot, and take a beach walk. There is a stream that runs through the island and lets out here and you can walk around looking for crabs in the stream and whatever other treasures might be found there. We also did some fishing off the pier one morning. The kids did "kids night out," so we went out to dinner alone that night. We've done the dolphin tour twice now. Last time was with Captain Scott and the dolphins came right up to the boat. We took in several of B'Lou Crabbe's activities, which are all good. The kids also took there razor scooters and enjoyed riding them around the resort. If I think of anything else, I'll let you know!
Thanks Denise. You've been so helpful! I really appreciate all your great info!!!
