Hi. We'll be in Hilton Head for Spring Break. The resort mailed us information on an Easter morning brunch available at the Beach House. I was wondering if anyone has done this in the past and if they liked it. The price is $24.95, and the menu appeals to my family. But for $100 for the 4 of us I want it to be good. Please share your opinions if you have done this before. Thanks!

Yes, I have done it, and I thought I'd posted pictures here, but just in case I will again (I love to post pictures from HHI)-

The positives were that the food was good, the table was reserved, and the service to and from was excellent (DH was at the Heritage that year and I was eating solo). The biggest negative was that all the plates and silverware were plastic/styrofoam, so it was more like a casual picnic than an Easter Buffet. Frankly, if DH had been with me we might have gone elsewhere. However, it was nice being at the Beach House and B'leu came and performed.

We are going this year since we will be arriving Saturday night instead of Sunday afternoon. This will be my parents' first trip to HHI and they liked the sound of a relaxed buffet at the resort. We had considered eating out or cooking in our room, but the buffet sounds like it will really give mom and dad the "feel" of the resort. I don't think the four of us could eat a decent meal for under $70 anyways;) so the price is not a huge deterrent.

See you in 21 days! ;)

If your kids will be along be sure to take them to the Easter egg hunt. It was divided up by age groups. My kids were 9 and 13 and loved it. They got a ton of candy, trinkets and pins.
