Any input on The Studio (20 Executive Park Rd.) would be appreciated

I found some info on these other restaurants, but more would also be appreciated:
- The Crazy Crab (two locations; I believe they're somewhat different) - Scott's Fish Market
- Mediterranean Harbour Bar and Grill

The only one we have any personal experience with is Mediterranean Harbour B&G. We walked over for lunch and it was very good. Waitress was excellent. Not many people the day we went, but the weather was pretty cloudy, windy.

We ate at the Harbour Town Yacht Club location for the Crazy Crab on our last trip, and it wasn't very good. Food was okay, but not as good as several other places at which we've eaten. The "right on the water" views tease is misleading. The restaurant doesn't actually sit right on the water--it sits back a bit, so any views you have will be mostly of people shopping, and there aren't that many window tables to start. Most irritating of all, is you must pay to drive into Harbour Town. You pass a small gate shack whereupon you'll be asked to stop and pay something like $6-$8 just to drive into the area. I suppose we'd have known this with a bit more research, but we didn't see that fee mentioned anywhere we looked. Overall, it was a one and done for us.

Also, you might get more traction on the Dining forum unless you've already tried there without any luck. ;)

We've eaten at Crazy Crab (both locations) a number of times. Had 51 people for a late lunch on the 4th of July and it was very good plus they did a good job as they did 3 yrs ago when we had 43 people. Otherwise Sea Shack, Sunset Grill, Redfish, Boathouse II, Giuseppi's Pizza & Pasta, Brooklyn Pizza, Salty Dog, Alexander's, Wiseguys, Charlies L'etoile Verte, Old Fort Pub, and the Old Oyster Factory are a few that come to mind.

We have enjoyed our meals at Scott's the past two trips, you cannot beat the convenience of walking over the bridge to eat dinner! Service was very attentive (but that could be because I have two lovely teenage daughters and our waiter was a local college boy!), food was hot and very tasty, and the drinks were on the potent side!

Have really enjoyed it (Skull Creek). It can get extremely crowded, and they don't take reservations. However, they have an excellent seafood boil and marvelous fried oysters among other things. Very good bar area, so you can always sit there and order off the menu, though even that area is crowded during peak times.

In July, we ate at the Crazy Crab in Harbour Town. We didn't think much of the food. My family enjoyed Salty Dog and Skull Creek better.

We eat at the "other" Crazy Crab on the northern part of the island and really have enjoyed it! We sat outside on the deck right on the water, had a wonderful meal and great service.

HHI has some awesome restaurants! a few of our favs- Hudsons!, Skull Creek, Check out Wise Guys for nice dinner, Low Country backyard was pretty good (not our fav though), san miguels- can walk there from DHHI, Kids loved Frosty Frog.... I could go on and on

When I first read your post, I presumed you were looking primarily for seafood locations. That's our focus while there since we live in the mountains of SW Virginia and have to drive over an hour (at least) to get fresh seafood. However, we still need a couple of meals to be a break from seafood during our trips. To that end, we found an exceptional Italian bistro--OMBRA Cucina Rustica. Chef Michael Cirafesi has created a marvelous, authentic menu, and the service, wine list, and ambiance are superb. It's consistently voted the best Italian restaurant (and Chef Michael top chef) in HHI. There are seafood options on the menu if you want, but his rustic fare transports you no matter what you get.

Thanks for the input, but truly I was hoping someone had some experience dining at The Studio. Anyone?
