Hilton Head DHHIR for the first time!

I'm so excited! We made last minute plans to go to Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort Oct 16 - 20! A 1 bedroom became available and I found some good airfare into Jacksonville Florida that I couldn't pass up. It'll be a bit of a drive, but we're OK with that!

This will be our first time at the resort and our first time on Hilton Head Island. We were scheduled to go last year but ended up having to make other plans to due to closures from hurricane Matthew.

Does anyone know where we can get something like this in the area; Captain Crab's Sampler Platter (Boiled shrimp, Snow Crab, Jonah or Rock Crab, mussels, crawfish, corn potatoes and sausage)? This is what we had at The Crab Shack (on Tybee Island) last year and it was so good! I don't think we'll have time to head over there this trip, so I'm hoping to find something similar on Hilton Head Island!

I am so very excited and it'll be here before we know it! It'll just be me and my husband for an anniversary trip!

You can check out Skull Creek Boathouse, just had crab there yesterday, it was fantastic, but I didn't notice if they had crawfish or not. Also, when you check into the resort, ask the staff, they are SUPER friendly and helpful - they will be able to point you in the right direction for all you local food needs.

Hope you enjoy your 1 BR. For me, the 1 BR is so much nicer than a studio it's a must-get for me at HHI. One time, we were short on points, so we rented a studio and my spoiled self spent the entire week b***ing about how I missed the 1 BR. We also recommend any of the 3 above-Kenny B's, Sea Shack, and Skull Creek Boathouse. Also, the front desk and Gordon in the Mercantile are great additional resources for food recommendations.
