Hilton Head Check in question

Here is the deal we are flying into savannah and arriving at 12;06am. It will most likely take us 2 hours to get to the resort after getting the rental car squared away etc. Now is there a way we can check in about 2am on the day of arrival if there is a room available? Will they give us a room that early in the morning (or that late at night depending on how you look at it)? I know check in isn't until 11am but if there is a room available do you think they will give it to us just so we can catch some z's. Otherwise the alternative plan is to book a room by the airport and sleep there get the rental car in the morning and then drive over but if we can eliminate that step it would be much easier to just get the car and head on over to the resort.

I don't think check in is until 4 pm. Anyway, this may depend on the time of year. In summer the place is usually sold out, which would mean no rooms available, thus no place to put you.

The only way you could guarantee a room that night is to reserve one for the night before (technically for hotels, 2 AM is still the preceeding night) or your plan of staying in Charleston.

Just wanted to let you know if you have a Disney Visa they are offering a deal for 2br for $99 per night up til Dec 31st, excluding Thanksgiving. If DH had more vacation time I would probably try for after Christmas. Don't know if they have availability for your dates but it is worth a try. I would get the room for the night coming in if that is the rate you are paying.

Oh right....I, for some reason, was thinking of check out time 11am...Duh!! I might just stay at the airport. We are flying into savannah.

We are taking the disney visa offer already and are doing the $99 a night. It is an unbelieveable deal!!! See I don't want to have to pay for a rental car that early so we would probably just stay near the airport. We will just head out to Hilton Head in the morning.
