We used HH as a rest point on the drive home WDW to NJ. I wanted to see if an extended stay was something that would interest us.

We stayed one night in a studio #1123. My only complain was that the studio overlooked a designated smoking area. Made a mental note for next time. (I did make the reservation with points the day before)

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and very Disney. More so than I have experienced at WDW of late.

All I have ever heard about HH was that the resort was not close enough to the ocean. I had no clue that there was a"beach house at the beach" Not knowing what to expect we visited the beach house The beach house and shuttle sold me on a future stay.

My question is: I own a seasonal business. My window for a vacation runs from the first week in November until April 15. We are beach people. Is it usually warm enough for the beach in my window?
Obviously on either end of the window.

Go in April if you want the beach. Will be the best chance. Water may be chilly but sitting on the beach is wonderful then!!

We go to HHI the first week of April which is always spring break for our kids. To clarify, we've done this twice so far, with our third trip coming up this year. Both times, we had decent weather, but I noticed that it was VERY windy on both trips. It wasn't bad by the resort so we did a lot of swimming and hanging out by the pool, but the wind on the beach was sometimes almost unbearable. Not only was the sand stinging our body, but the "breeze" made it a little cooler than I need for lounging on the beach. The air temperature and sunshine were perfect...but that breeze ON the beach was a bit too much for me. We opted to ride our bikes and walk along the shoreline, but nothing in our swimsuits since it was just too windy.

In part it depends on how warm you want it to be but in general the weather will be hit or miss. The first week of November will be OK at times but I'd agree that the second week in April is the most likely to be good beach weather. IMO the best times to go for weather and reduced crowds are mid Sept to mid Oct and late April to early June. We usually go either week 26 or 27, the week before or the week of 4th of July because of family availability. It's hot but we always have a great time. IMO being on the beach is even more important during questionable weather times than summer, YMMV.
