Hilton Head beach chair rental?

Hi all! We are eagerly looking forward to a return to HHI this upcoming summer. Last year, we rented beach chairs from the lifeguard, and we weren't too thrilled with the set up since those chairs had to stay at the back part of the beach and were kind of uncomfortably close to other families. This summer, I am considering another route, and wondered if anyone had a good source, or if there was anyway that beach chairs being sold in town were potentially cheaper than a rental? Also, does anyone know if rentals from any other agency have backpack straps since we like to ride to the beach house and we'd prefer to not drive.

Speaking in a general sense and not specific to HHI, you can get very cheap chairs at Walmart. I think many people feel comfortable buying relatively cheap chairs (for less than renting at the beach) and then just leaving them somewhere, or maybe even selling them to a family who is checking in on departure day.

It's the same idea as buying a cheap stroller at Walmart near WDW and abandoning it the day you leave.
