Hilton Head and Alexanders

Quick question about getting from the Disney Beach House to Alexanders for dinner. My DH and I love to walk. We thought about having our son drop us off at the beach house, spending some time on the beach just strolling before dinner, then walking to Alexanders for an early dinner. Mapquest says it's about 1/3 of a mile. I can't remember if there's a bike trail between them, but I think there is. Does anyone know? Would it be a miserable walk around 5:30 pm in July. I don't want to be a sweaty mess when I get there. Any opinions?

Yes, there is a bike trail from the beach house to Alexander's. It's not that far. In July at 5:30pm, yeah you will be sweating when you get there. You'll be sweating before you get out of the parking lot at the beach house.

I walked from the Marriott which is next to the Beach House and a tad closer to Alexander's not a problem. I think you will be fine.
