Hilton Head activities for 14 & 10 yr old boys

Hi there..we were at HHI resort about 5 years ago when our boys were younger. Can anyone give me an idea of what activities (besides the beach and pool) that are available for their age group? Thanks

We went summer 2007 when our boys were almost 14 and 12. I was a bit worried about what they were going to do for fun, since they were so used to going commando at WDW! They were perfectly happy just hanging out at the beach and pool. They didn't participate in any outside activities, so I can't offer anything there, but they just seemed content hanging out with us! They even thought going to the beach at night, with flashlights, was pretty cool.

It was a great and VERY relaxing vacation!

My teen and tween would fish and crab all day if we let them! That and play basketball and of course swim. They also like to play basketball and volleyball at the Beach House Pool. We all did the family treasure hunt and they had fun, even my 13 year old!

There is the the teens night out - pizza and a movie, miniature golf, kayaking, games at the Beach House, the Tuesday night dance party at the pool. I'm sure there is more, that is just what I remember.

I'm not sure if the 10 year old could do this, but when we were there in November, there was a teen pool tournament going on in Big Murgie's Den one day, with the recreation staff supervising the event. Looked like everyone was having fun.

it is a good gauge as to what we had in June. Between the pool games and other activities with the exemplary Cast Members, you boys will have a blast. My sons were 12 and 10 in June and November and had a great time. We didn't reserve in time for June 2009 and I thought we might try an RCI exchange for HHI, my kids, including 15 yr old daughter, all said NO, DVC or Bust. Campfires and BLou Crabbe activities are great. Can't say enough about this resort! They'll have a blast!
