For those who have stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacations across from SeaWorld, I would love any advice of what I should request.

Do you have a preference for a certain building?

Which view is the quietest?

Any other suggestions or info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks. :)

We stayed in St. George with a view facing West overlooking the tennis and basketball courts. That was the only source of any noise and even that was minimal. St. George is only a two minute walk from the Lobby and main pool area. For quiet, I'd say if you could get a South facing room overlooking the golf course on one of the upper floors (4-6) you'll be in good shape. I'd recommend St. George since it was close to the pool without all the ruckus of that area (plus I'd have to dig out my map to get the other names of the buildings.) Actually, after looking at google maps and reviewing the layout again, it looks like St. George on the South side is the only one that is not either facing another building, overlooking a parking lot, pool, tennis, or basketball court, and is most likely the quietest. Unless that course has a lot of unruly golfers. Hope that gets you going.

I appreciate your suggestions. It's our first time staying there and I'm a bit apprehensive. But it sounds like a great resort. :)

By the way, is the map showing the names of the different buildings accessible on the website? I would love to see it.

Thanks.

I tried finding that on-line, but was unsuccessful. I have a bag somewhere with our leftover fliers and such that also seems hidden at the moment. When I find it though I'll make a scan of the map and post it for you soon.

We had a great experience there and were actually sad that we didn't spend more time at the pool. It's a great place to stay, particularly with kids. If you have littler ones though, don't let them mess around in the whirlpool tub, or you may find a jet of water flying through the air and landing on your bed. I'm just sayin'.....

Guess it was sitting almost next to me at this desk which explains why I couldn't find it.

Thank you Thank you Thank you! :worship:

This is so helpful!

By the way, we don't usually use the whirlpool at resorts since we have one at home anyways. About 5 years ago, we stayed at a resort with a whirlpool and decided to use it....big mistake! We cleaned it before we ran it about 4 times and it was completely filthy even after 5 times we ran soap through the jets....I don't think it was ever cleaned :sad2:. So needless to say, we never did use it. So that experience really threw me off on it....at home we clean ours regularly and it never has dirt coming out of the jets. So, no chance of us using it.;) But thanks for the warning. :upsidedow

Our jets worked just fine, trouble is they worked when the water level was below them and we wound up with a soggy bed for our first night. Shot about 10 feet across the room right on my wife who what relaxing, but now it's just a funny story we can tell, but at the time....
